I received a summons to appear before the Municipal Court of the City of La Porte, Texas 77571 at 2:00 PM on the 9th day of July, 2009 then and there to answer to the State of Texas by and through the City of La Porte for a misdemeanor offense committed against the laws of the State of Texas to-wit: BUILDING CODE VIOLATIONS.

Building Code Violations?

I was surviving in a tent... after the Port of Houston destroyed my property... I had no where else to go... no place else to live.

If a storm had destroyed my property... the CIty would be trying to help me... but since the Port destroyed my property... and the City is in "bed" with the Port... the City not only does NOTHING to the Port for trying to STEAL my property... but they issue me a ticket for TENT LIVING!

I was SURVIVING... I was not LIVING!

How dare they attack me so when I am vulnerable?

You'd think they would offer me a Fema trailer or something!

Instead they want to PROSECUTE me!

I CALL BULLSHIT!

I was SURVIVING in a tent on my OWN property!

Then to top it all off... the last time I had a court date I asked the City Attorney Clark Askins if he would consider dropping the charges because I considered it a huge waste of taxpayer time and money to have a jury trial for, "Tent Living".

His response, "Normally I would, but someone in City Hall is pushing this."

Someone in City Hall is pushing this?

Why?

What sort of agenda do THEY have?

And just WHO is this person?
